Men’s Fitzroy Jacket

Easily thrown over a shell, whether at a freezing belay, navigating over a plateau in a white out or simply stopping to refuel, the Fitzroy provides a significant boost of insulation without needing to undress to put on extra layers or worrying about getting it wet. It’s one of the most versatile and resilient jackets in our range, a reassuring presence in any pack when the weather changes or the day takes an unexpected turn.

Extensive testing has shown us that PrimaLoftⓇ Gold Hi-Loft Ultra insulation with Cross Core™ aerogel technology is the best synthetic fill currently available for this application, highly thermally efficient even when wet, fast drying and resilient in the face of constant packing and unpacking it remains mobile enough for seconding steep pitches of climbing and wearing for long periods.

A WINDSTOPPERⓇ shell is totally windproof and exceptionally weatherproof, combined with our helmet compatible Mountain HC Hood it makes the Fitzroy amongst the most protective jackets of its type currently available.

Insulation

• PrimaLoft® Gold Hi-Loft Ultra insulation with Cross Core™ aerogel technology offers exceptional warmth to weight and wet weather performance
• 120g m-2 of insulation in the body and 80g m-2 in the hood and sleeves balances insulation and mobility
• An additional 60g m-2 shoulder overlay for compression resistance when wearing a pack
• Uses 74% Recycled & 26% Virgin Polyester

Materials

• WINDSTOPPER® by GORE-TEX labs Ripstop with ePTFE Membrane with 30 Denier face fabric is lightweight and durably weather resistant
• 20 Denier lining fabric is durable and breathable for moisture management and over-layering

Patterning & Design

• Mountain fit allows for easy over-layering and full range of motion
• Shoulder Shield construction: seamless shoulder panels help to prevent moisture ingress from melting snow and spindrift

Hood Configuration

• Mountain HC Insulated Hood will easily fit over a helmet
• Fully adjustable with rear volume adjustment and two frontal adjusters
• Wired hood visor maintains field of vision even in high winds or when wearing glasses/goggles

Pocket Configuration

• 2 YKK® zipped handwarmer pockets with Octayarn lining
• 1 YKK® zipped chest pocket for essentials
• Large inner drop pocket for gloves, water bottle and other items that need to be kept warm
• Singe inner zipped security pocket for small items

Centre Front Zip

• 2-way YKK® moulded centre front zip with insulated rear baffle to minimise heat loss and wind ingress
• Easy to use with gloves on

Cuffs & Sleeves Configuration

• Adjustable cuff construction for ease of use with gloves and perfect seal to maximise warmth
• Articulated and pre-shaped sleeves offer unhindered mobility when climbing in all your layers
